Our Laboratory for Musical Acoustics aims at supporting the teaching activities in this field. It consists mainly of a series of hands-on experiments that can be performed by the teacher in the classroom. The lab does not have a separate physical ubication. All experiments and the corresponding material (with the exception of specialized bibliography) are and will be included in the Gabinete de Física (Repository for Teaching Experiments) in order to make them available for any teacher who would like to use them.
The laboratory is open for all courses taught by the Department of Applied Physics although the students of the course Musical Acoustics corresponding to the degree programms for History and Science of Music are its main users .
